Brainline – Matric for Adults
Achieve your authentic National Senior Certificate, which allows for further studies after Grade 12.
Once you’ve complied with the national policy requirements of Grade 10—12, you are awarded the National Senior Certificate (NSC), issued by Umalusi. The NSC is a 130 credit certificate at Level 4 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), and allows you to access further education – should you fulfil all the requirements for tertiary studies.
Brainline’s curriculum for Gr 12 is put together to assist the learner with his/her studies.
Study material is supplied on a DVD and may be supplemented with textbooks (for some subjects), and is aligned with the requirements of the IEB (as based on the Revised National Curriculum Statement).
Admission requirements
A learner has to pass the previous grade in order to proceed to the next grade. An official report is required, and evidence of the learner’s SBA might be required.
When a learner enrols with Brainline from another institution, of which Brainline cannot determine the validity and/or integrity of the report, the learner might be required to complete a bridging course in all the subjects for that grade before he/she is approved to study with Brainline.

The Online Courses
The online courses deliver the content with digital media: video lessons and electronic exercises. This makes it possible for you to study at your own pace:

The course is structured in such a way to cover all the grade 10-12 content that you will encounter in the final exam
Learners that do not keep to the deadlines get deregistered from the exam. Since the assignments can only be accessed by completing the homework with 100% correctness this requires consistent effort, discipline, diligence and motivation.

In order to enroll you will have to give us evidence of your Grade 11 School Based Assessment or if you are older than 21 and passed grade 9/standard 7, you may however be promoted to grade 12.
